“I am proud to be a civil servant, as it gives me the opportunity to be directly involved in policy and implementation matters that have an immediate impact on people’s lives. To be able to do something for my fellow citizens is a very satisfying feeling. Jai Hind
-Shobhan Kar, Indian Revenue Service

It’s been a humbling experience to be a civil servant now for a little less than two decades because this vocation has given me a platform to put my entire being with all my aptitude, passion, education, training, skills in providing better quality of life and service to our people, our society and our environs that we co habit and in doing so it has vastly evolved and empowered me. In fact, in doing our daily jobs with integrity, transparency, responsibility, with responsiveness and all its challenges it has enabled me to give back to society what I have received in immense measure from it and the journey continues to be as satisfying as when I first began and will continue with the same passion, compassion and integrity. The people inspire me, the problems goad me to keeping going on….Thank you Mugdha Sinha IAS Rajasthan 1999
