Sauvé, well spoken, immaculate and a person who took the social media by storm, for not just becoming the youngest serving President of France but also for his unconventional personal life. Emmanuel Jean-Michel Frédéric Macron was born on the 21st of December 1977 in Amiens. His father was a physician and mother, a professor of neurology. He has two siblings, Laurent, born in 1979 and Estelle, born in 1982. Raised in a non-religious family, he was baptized a Roman Catholic at his own request at age 12.
Early Education –
Macron was primarily educated in Amiens before his parents sent him to finish his last year of school in Paris. He even finished his undergraduate there. At the same time he was nominated for the “Concours Général” (most selective national level high school competition) in French literature and also received a diploma for his piano studies at Amiens Conservatory.

He studied Philosophy at the University of Paris-Ouest Nanterre La Défense and around 1999 Macron started work as an editorial assistant to Paul Ricoeur, the French Protestant philosopher who was then writing his last major work, La Mémoire, l’Histoire.
After this, he obtained a master’s degree in public affairs before training for a senior civil service career at the selective École nationale d’administration.
At the age of 39, he became the youngest President in the history of France and is also the ex officio Co-Prince of Andorra since 14 May 2017.
Before entering politics, he was a senior civil servant and investment banker. He worked at the Inspectorate General of Finances, and later became an investment banker at Rothschild & Cie Banque.
President of France –
At 39, he is the youngest President in French history and the youngest French head of state since Napoleon. He is also the first President of France born after the establishment of the Fifth Republic in 1958.
Personal life –
Macron is married to Brigitte Trogneux, 24 years his senior, who was his teacher. They first met when he studied under her as a student. He was 15 years old then and she, 39. However, they only married in 2007. By then, she had been divorced with three children from her previous marriage.
Apart from politics, Macron is a supporter of Olympique de Marseille. He is an accomplished pianist and enjoys skiing, tennis boxing.
He lives in the Élysée Palace with his wife Brigitte and an adopted black Labrador Retriever-Griffon dog
