Skoda is all ready to introduce exclusive Kodiaq SUV under the L&K edition. The automaker claims that the new car will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor show which will begin in a few weeks. The new seven-seater kodiaq comes with an extensive equipment list and new option as well.
The L&K edition, which has been named after Skoda Auto’s founder (Laurin and Klement) is expected to come with a chrome-finished grille, LED headlamps, 19-inch alloy wheels and a renewed the rear bumper.
Moreover, the interiors will also get custom leather upholstery, piano black trim and a Canton Sound system. Power Adjustable seats,auto-dimming rear-view mirror and ambient lighting are also included as standard on the L&K edition.
Generally, Skoda don’t take cars with their founding father’s names lightly. So expectedly the additional engine option of 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor, an extensively updated 190hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine which now makes 10 hp more and a 2.0-litre diesel engine are available in 150hp and 190hp states of tune. Skoda’s new SUV will have a dynamic chassis control, that lets the car some semblance of active dynamics.
The Skoda Kodiaq L&K edition will make its official global debut at the Geneva Motor Show, along with the new Fabia and the Vision X Concept. However, as of now, there is no information available on whether the L&K Kodiaq will come to India. Skoda has earlier introduced the L&K edition Superb to India. Even though all these exclusive features don’t come cheap expect the L&K edition would be priced at the range-topping Rs 49 lakh trim Kodiaq.
