Nokia 7 Plus specifications, image, features leaked; launched expected at MWC 2018

Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event in Barcelona likely to see the launch of Nokia 7 Plus, along with much-anticipated Nokia 9 and Nokia 1. New reports have divulged the features, specifications, design and images of the Nokia 7 Plus.

The report comes after the Nokia 7 Plus was leaked via the Nokia Camera app and then spotted on Geekbench website.

Nokia’s parent company, HMD Global will be hosting its MWC 2018 event on February 25, 2018, where it is foreseen to introduce a host of Android phones. The features and images of the alleged Nokia 7 Plus smartphone were leaked by Nokiapoweruser, revealing the major details of specifications and design of the upcoming smartphone.

Nokia 7 Plus, as per the latest reports, could come with 6-inch 18:9 display with Gorilla glass protection and may sport a dual-camera setup with 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors with Carl Zeiss at the back, with 2X optical zoom.

In addition, the smartphone may pack a 16-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and the device may run on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The device is also expected to come with 4GB RAM.

The Nokia 7 Plus will have an Aluminium unibody design and in terms of memory, it may include 64GB of internal memory, expandable via a microSD card. Additionally, the mobile may feature 9V/ 2A quick-charging support and come with a USB-Type C port.

Nokia OZO 360 degree spatial audio technology is also reportedly included in the handset. Meanwhile, a previous report had claimed that the Nokia 7 Plus, being the bigger version of the last year’s Nokia 7, could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
