“We Ram-bhakts, today, as part of this programme, take this pledge that at the earliest, the Ram Mandir be constructed.

Jai Shri Ram”

He said that he had said so before the pledge was taken.

However, when reminded of the fact that his duty is to enforce the law, rather than take such a pledge over a matter that is sub-judice, he continued to evade and justify.
