The year 2017 was momentous for OnePlus. The Chinese company has been busy with its high profile products launch during the last quarter of 2017. It also introduced two special editions for their flagship 5T. At first, OnePlus released the Star Wars Edition in India, celebrating the launch of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi and lately, released the OnePlus 5T lava red edition that dons a bright red colour.
The company has lately seen the fever created after the launch of flagship model OnePlus 5T, especially for lava red edition. The devices were in high demand and it ran out of stock on both Amazon India website and the official OnePlus website in India. Due to which, the Chinese company is now bringing back the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition and is now on sale.
In addition, the company is also offering a buyback program if users are looking to swap in your smartphone to get the 5T Star Wars edition. Buyers will be able to avail the offer on the purchase of the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones. Furthermore, OnePlus fans will be able to swap an old device to buy a new OnePlus 5T at a discounted price, according to the buyback plan
OnePlus also allows fans to exchange smartphone from brands like Apple, Google, HTC, Huawei, Asus, Samsung, Vivo, Xolo, Oppo, BlackBerry, Gionee, Intex, Karbonn, Lenovo, LeEco, LG, Xiaomi, Micromax, Motorola, Panasonic and Sony.
For those who don’t know, the original 5T sports a 6.01-inch full HD with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, protected by 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked up to 2.45GHz. The smartphone runs on OxygenOS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and the display also supports sRGB and DCI-P3 colour gamuts.
The OnePlus 5T boasts Face Unlock feature as per the company claims. It is based on advanced facial recognition system and features a fingerprint scanner at the back panel.
While on the photography front, the OnePlus 5T bears a 16Mega Pixel primary sensor with 1.12-micron pixels and a 20Mega Pixel Sony IMX376K front shooter. The handset is backed by 3300mAh non-removable battery. The smartphone will be available in a Midnight Black colour variant.
