Sony Japan’s wristwatch brand, Wena Wrist, took a different route to smartwatches when it launched in 2015. The company offered analogue watches with built-in activity monitor and a NFC chip for payments.
Now, Wena Wrist has launched with a new line of semi-smartwatches especially designed for women. The Three Hands Square models will be available in 18mm, 20mm, and 22mm square lug options. The square models join the standard Three Hands circular body watches. Users can also customize their watches by choosing either a steel band or leather strap with the steel band offering a notification LED that links up with your smartphone.
The Three Hands Square steel band watches will go on sale this month, with the leather straps coming later in the year in December. The body costs $93 with the steel band coming in at $300 and leather strap at $75. If you are interested in strapping these stylish watches to your wrist, then you’ll have to head to Japan as Sony is only selling these watches in Japanese stores.
