Saudi bombing kills 24 in Yemen’s al-Moshnaq market

Date:

At least 24 people were killed after Saudi warplanes bombed a bustling marketplace in Yemen‘s extreme north-west, local media reports said on Sunday.

According to reports, the aircraft hit the al-Moshnaq market in Sa’ada province’s Shada’a District late Saturday night.

The death toll could rise as the aircraft kept bombing after relief teams arrived at the scene.

However, the Saudi-led alliance, which has been fighting the Iran-allied rebels in Yemen for more than two years, has not yet commented on the reports.

Last year in October, at least 115 people were killed and several others injured after a Saudi-led coalition bombardment a funeral hall in Sana’a.
