Bihar’s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urged UP CM Yogi Adityanath, to not come ‘empty handed’ as he visits Bihar today. He tells him to first implement the liquor ban and 50% reservation for women in local bodies. According to the reports, in public meeting after laying foundations of development projects worth Rs 300 crore, Kumar said, “You (Adityanath) should take cue from us and implement liquor ban and 50 per cent reservation for women in local bodies.”

Taking advantage of the much-hyped Darbhanga visit of Yogi Adityanath today, Kumar said, “He must be coming empty-handed whereas I am here to launch various development schemes.” The Bihar Chief Minister also rebuked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for non-fulfilment of the various promises made to Bihar during the 2014 general elections. Kumar said that his government will launch a total de-addiction drive as follow up action after the success of the liquor ban.
