12 killed, several injured in Tehran terror attack

Tehran: At least three attacks rocked the city of Tehran on Wednesday including an attack on the Parliament leaving at least 12 people killed and several injured.

12:15- Lawmaker Elias Hazrati said three attackers, one with a pistol and two with AK-47 assault rifles, raided parliament, according to the state television website.

12:00- Meanwhile, an armed man opened fire at the Mausoleum of Ayatollah Khomeini in southern Tehran and wounded a number of people on Wednesday, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
