Several people along with policemen were injured when a clash broke out on Tuesday between the two communities in Sukurhutu village near Ranchi.
The incident took place when a woman went to a washroom and some group of boys of a community misbehaved with her. The other company after getting enraged with this act came on the streets and started pelting stones. The clash continued for two long hours. Bullets were also fired, according to the reports.
The communal clash came to a halt only when additional force was called by the police for help. This is the second such incident in a week in the region. Earlier clashes were reported in Bargai, when two communities clashed on the issue of loud music being played at a marriage party.
