OnePlus 3T to be discontinued as OnePlus 5 launch draws closer

Date:

OnePlus has announced that its latest flagship, OnePlus 3T, will soon be discontinued. The production of OnePlus 3T has already been halted, and sale of the devices will continue till the present stock lasts.

The announcement comes after the company’s CEO revealed that the next flagship from OnePlus, the Oneplus 5, will be launched soon and will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

There have been several leaks over the last few weeks with some reports claiming a dual camera setup on the flagship. OnePlus has partnered with DxO, makers of the photography benchmark, DxOMark. The partnership will see DxO provide enhancements to the OnePlus 5’s camera system.

Additionally leaks also point towards a 5.5 inch display with an increased resolution over the outgoing OnePlus 3T. The device is reportedly going to ship with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM and will come with Android Nougat 7.1.1 installed.
