Lalu Yadav’s daughter and son in law summoned by I-T department

RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) Chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav‘s daughter, Misa Bharti and her husband has been summoned by the Income Tax department in relation to money laundering case on Wednesday, according to the reports.

Earlier, Misa Bharti’s Chartered Accountant, Rajesh Agarwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in his connections to 8000 Crore money laundering scam. Agarwal was arrested under provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and he was questioned by ED, according to the officials.

The trail of charges began after various Benami properties of Lalu Yadav in Patna and Delhi NCR was raided by CBI last week, which is said to be worth 1000 crores.
