₹ 4.30 lakh looted at gunpoint in Odisha

Kendrapara: Unidentified criminals looted Rs 4.30 lakh cash at gunpoint from a trader on the Paradip-Daitary expressway near here, police said today.

Businessman Sadanand Swain had drawn the cash from a nationalised bank and was on way to his house in Marshaghai when two motor-cycle-borne men waylaid him at gun point and snatched the bag containing the cash at Khamarapada traffic junction yesterday, pollice said.

The miscreants are yet to be identified, police said.
