In another unfortunate incident of hit and run that took place on Sunday night in the national capital, a BMW car crashed into a Uber cab near IIT Flyover in South Delhi leaving the cab driver dead.
The driver of BMW was at a very high speed and lost control of the vehicle, as a result he ended up hitting the private cab from behind. The deceased has been identified as Nazarul, a native of West Bengal and was the only bread earner of his family.

Shoaib Kohli, the 24-year-old driver of the BMW SUV, managed to flee from the spot but was arrested from Panchsheel area in New Delhi on Monday. When the authorities rushed Nazrul to All India Institute of Medical Sciences trauma centre in a serious condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

The Delhi Police will soon produce the accused in a local court. They also filed a case of rash and negligent driving causing death against him.
As per eyewitness accounts, the taxi was flung into the air as the impact of the BMW hitting it from behind, the taxi apparently touched the ground after 50 metres.
