Uber boss’s ‘Indian citizenship’ formula will not work, Loses ground to Ola

Ola and Uber is a household name when it comes to mode of transport in big cities. India haves a massive number of mobile phone users second to China. These app-based car services are booming because of the population of smartphone users in India. Trucaller the most trusted app among users for tracking phone calls came up with an exclusive report called Trueinsights about the details and traffic of callers in Ola and Uber.

According to the data call volumes for call service slightly fell to 2.07 billion which indicates less growth in the service or advancement in the car service of Ola and Uber.

In this quarterly details of the facts by Trueinsights, overall around 34 million unique callers made or received calls for ridesharing I last three months.

In Delhi alone, 3.8 million made or received calls which account about 348 million calls which show that the customers who use share are very regular in using car services.

Ola is more popular in Delhi, Andhra Pradesh while Uber is popular in Mumbai the third largest market for car services.

Final data for outgoing and incoming calls, Ola called 65 million customers and 19 million customers called Ola this quarter. This makes a total of around 85 million calls. Uber, on the other hand, called 23 million customers and received 6 million making a total of 29 million calls. Ola is having a straight lead over Uber in the car service sector.
