In a stunning reply to Pakistan for the deadly Uri attack, the Indian Army conducted surgical strikes on Thursday night on terror launch pads at the LoC, killing 35-40 terrorists and 9 Pak Army men.
The Surgical strikes were based on specific intelligence input of terror groups ready to infiltrate into India and carry out terror attacks.

According to sources, 8 terror launch pads were targeted across the LoC by Special Forces of the Indian Army during the ‘surgical strike’.
In response to Indian Army’s success, Saurabh Shukla, Editor-in-Chief, NewsMobile, said,
“People talk about Indira Gandhi of 1971 as the Iron Lady. I would say PM Narendra Modi is the Iron Man of today.”
