Say hello to InvestorsCart, breaking equity investment stereotypes

Date:

A great idea, a wonderful team, and a good business plan, are not enough for the budding

entrepreneurs, they also need the validation of their business from the crowd that has

direct impact. Investment from the concern crowd is the approval for the entrepreneurs to

go ahead. InvestorsCart, a true equity crowdfunding platform, bridge that gap by sourcing

funds from multiple investors. It also gives opportunity to the investors to invest in the

business they believe in.

Recently, Mumbai based InvestorsCart, helped Eckovation in raising undisclosed amount.

Eckovation is a social learning platform launched by IIT Delhi graduates, connecting

teachers, students and parents on a single platform (mobile/web).

“Currently, there is a massive gap in Indian start-up ecosystem when it comes to securing

seed funding. We want to bridge this gap through our online platform where promising

entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to connect with right set of investors. Our efforts

will also drive the growth of digital India.” – said Chinmay Mahadkar, Co-founder at

InvestorsCart.

Asked about the effectiveness of the online platform, Mahadkar, who graduated from

Middlesex University, London, told NewsMobile, “We don’t want to limit capital raising only

from institutional angel investors group, as we also encourage individuals to make smaller

investments in the Indian start-up ecosystem. Usually, investment through a crowd-funding

platform will see multiple investors. One can invest as low as INR 10,000, and become

shareholder in the company; InvestorsCart take the responsibility of all the shareholding

right.”

Amardeep Sharma, Co-founder at InvestorsCart and a serial entrepreneur, who has

experience in doing business in Middle East, South East Asia, and Latin America, backs

InvestorsCart. He brings his rich Investment Banking experience into the Business.

Amardeep has done his Masters from University of Oxford.

Indian start-up ecosystem ranks third in the world and we strongly believe that equity crowd

funding platform can provide the lacking edge in the ecosystem as more investors and

entrepreneurs’ starts connecting.
