Bollywood singer Labh Janjua who shot to fame with hit songs like ‘London Thumakda’ and ‘Pyar karke Pachtaya’ was found dead at his residence in Bangur Nagar in Mumbai on Thursday morning.
The Punjabi singer made his debut in Bollywood with Dhol in 2007.
He was also an Indian bhangra-hip hop singer and songwriter, best known for his bhangra song, ‘Mundiyaan Toh Bach Ke’, which was remixed by Panjabi MC in 1998, and re-released in 2002.
He was also the voice behind popular songs like ‘Jee Karda’ from Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Singh Is Kinng’, ‘Dance Pe Chance’ from ‘Rab Ne Banaa Di Jodi’, ‘Soni De Nakhre’ from ‘Partner’, ‘London Thumakda’ from last year’s ‘Queen’ and ‘Dil Kare Chu Chain’ from this year’s release ‘Singh Is Bliing’.
The reason behind his sudden death hasn’t been revealed and the details are still awaited.
