Bhangarh Fort, Rajasthan:
Located on the way to Alwar and Jaipur, this place tops our list.
As per legend, there was a black magic sorcerer. He cursed the residents of the palace that they all would die an unnatural death and their spirits will stay for centuries to haunt the fort. The houses found here are without roof tops as it is believed that the moment a rooftop is built on a house- it collapses. The visitors are not allowed to spend night in the fort. It is said that nobody comes back from this scary place after dusk.
Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi
The place was recently used as a shooting spot in PK starring Aamir Khan. It is believed that this place was filled with black water which enticed the visitors to go deep or jump and commit suicide.
Residency, Lucknow
The city of ‘tehzeeb’ and ‘tameez’ is known for its historical value. Residency has more to it than just the ruins and cemetery. It is said to be haunted especially the ‘Main House’, which is also a museum. It has all the weapons preserved. The guards and the people have noticed paranormal activities going there in the basement.
Dow hills, West Bengal
It is popularly known as the – ‘death road’ by the locals. It is said that a headless boy chases the visitors. He then disappears in the wood. People fall into depression and commit suicide after visiting Dow hill.
Raj Kiran Hotel, Lonavala

The haunted room is right beside the reception in the lobby on the ground floor. The door is knocked in the night. The bed sheet is pulled and there is some unnatural cooling in the room. The place is actually eerie.
