Game of Thrones ice wall may become a tourist attraction

Date:

Are you a Game of Thrones fan? Yes? We have some good news for you!

The colossal Game of Thrones ice wall could become a permanent tourist attraction in Northern Ireland.

The fictional barrier shown in the series that runs along the north border of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros in the GOT series may become a permanent attraction on the Northern Irish coastline.

The local councilors want HBO, to leave the set behind once the shoot is complete.

Quote- Unquote:

“It is a magnificent site and it would be a massive tourist attraction. The number of buses and people who stop to try and get views of it,” East Antrim DUP MP Sammy Wilson said.

“To have the set there as well would be the icing on the cake,” the council member added.

What actually is the wall?

The show centers on the struggle for power between a number of families in the mainland of Westeros. Game of Thrones has a wall that barricades the frozen north from the Seven Kingdoms in the South, where it is always sunny and warm.

After Lord of the Rings shooting location and King’s Cross Station of Harry Potter, famous for its 9 ¾ platform, now it is GOT’s turn to attract some tourists.

When people were still busy thinking about if Snow is really dead or will be back in the series, this surprise is like icing on the cake for them.
