Government warns of Pak intelligence agencies’ hack

Date:

New Delhi: Hot on heels of the terror attacks in Gurdaspur and Udhampur, sources reveal that Pakistan intelligence agencies are planning to hack the computer networks of ministries like Defence and External Affairs.

In an advisory issued by the Home Ministry, there were alerts mentioning that sensitive and classified information must be carefully protected from online exposure.

As per the revelations, Pakistani intelligence agencies would try to use a complex matrix of online proxies as cover for an attempted hack.

This comes ahead of scheduled talks in Delhi between the National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan regarding ceasefire violations and terror attacks.
