Instagram censors #CaitlynJenner post hate-filled comments

Date:

Washington: Even if you tried to use ‘#CaitlynJenner’ or tag the former Olympian in a comment and failed then it was due to photo sharing app Instagram censoring all comments and hashtags related to the transgender reality star.

Instagram also blocked its users’ ability to view most recent pictures and texts as there was a flood of hate-filled awful comments and postings that targeted the 65-year-old American reality star.

Notably, the ‘Friday Night Lights’ creator Peter Berg, previously took to his Instagram to share a meme featuring a side-by-side comparison picture of the reality star and an amputee soldier with two artificial legs and mentioned “One Man traded 2 legs for the freedom of the other to trade 2 balls for 2 boobs”.

Berg later backtracked from his offensive remark by explaining on Twitter that he has the utmost respect for Jenner and also that he strongly supports equality and the rights of trans people everywhere, but unfortunately initially it created a chaos on Instagram.
