New Delhi: Air travel is becoming a lot more trouble free and feasible, thanks to all the discounts airline companies keep dishing out.
A trend kicked off by low-cost carriers SpiceJet has caught up even on some of the most established players in the market. Now, it’s Jet Airways that’s luring its customers with throw-away prices on its tickets.
Private carrier Jet Airways on Thursday put 1-million economy class seats up for sale, with a flat 25 per cent discount for a limited period, on its domestic network.
The carrier operates across 51 destinations in India.
The four-day mega fare offer will be available for sale from May 27 to 30 and valid for travel from June 15 to October 15, the airlines said in a release.
The four-day booking period offer is valid for economy class travel on the airline’s domestic network, it said.
“The 25 per cent discount offer is for travel only on direct flights on the airline’s domestic network”, Jet Airways said adding it is not applicable on group bookings and available on a first come, first serve basis.
