Gurgaon: A five-month-old female foetus was found in the toilet of an Udyog Vihar-based garment export company on Monday.
An FIR has been lodged against unknown person’s five-month-old foetus and a medical examination of three women employees of the company was also conducted to zero in on the criminal.
According to a report, the foetus was spotted in a commode by a housekeeping staff member with the company while she was cleaning the toilet.
She informed her superiors, who called the police.
A police team reached on the spot and carried out a preliminary investigation.
Police said it was a five-month-old female foetus.
“We are questioning the factory workers. Someone had tried to flush the foetus down the toilet. We have taken three women employees of company for a medical examination and a report is awaited. We are investigating as to when the fetus was dumped in the toilet,” said Vipin Kumar, SHO, Udyog Vihar police station.
