Sarees with Facebook logo goes viral

Date:

New Delhi: With the social media sites gaining popularity among the youth, people have also started flaunting those wearing T-shirts. Youths are often seen wearing FB and Twitter one-liner tees.

But, it’s not a youth affair now-a-days. The fervor has also gripped Indian women. From WhatsApp-printed sarees to Facebook-printed ones, these women took the social media to a new height.

A woman was seen sitting at a bus stop wearing a white saree with green thick linings on the border. The picture went viral on Facebook and Twitter, with fans sharing and re-tweeting it. What makes the saree special is WhatsApp logo printed on it. However, the origin of the picture remains a mystery.

This is not the first time a woman was seen in such attire. A few months back, a woman was seen inside a metro train wearing a red saree with Facebook logo printed on it. In another incident, a woman was seen wearing a yellow saree with Apple logos on it.

Now that the craze of social networking sites have moved on to another level, it would be interesting to see what turn will it take next.
