Daily flights to Abu Dhabi from Ahmedabad to start soon

Date:

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Civil Aviation Minister Saurabh Patel announced that commencement of one international flight and one domestic flight from Ahmedabad and Bhuj would begin soon.

The announcement came after Patel held a detailed meeting with Jet Airways representatives at Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) office.

According to an official press release, both these flights will be operated daily. These flights include a flight from Ahmedabad to Abu Dhabi and another flight from Bhuj to Delhi.

The international flight service to Abu Dhabi from Ahmedabad would commence from November 14, while the domestic flight service to Delhi is scheduled to start from October 26.

The flight to Abu Dhabi would take off daily from Ahmedabad airport at 8 pm and to land at 10 pm at Abu Dhabi local time. The same flight would return at 3 pm, the release said.

Patel claimed that the flight would provide connectivity to those who wish to travel further to Europe, North America and other Gulf countries from Abu Dhabi.

Similarly, Patel hoped that direct flights to Delhi from Bhuj would promote tourism in Kutch, including ‘Ranotsav’, as domestic and international tourists would be able to reach easily through this daily service.
