The Xbox One is scheduled to hit the Indian market on September 23. Microsoft’s Xbox One will be available only on Amazon India. The pre-orders have already begun, and Amazon is running a promotion with special offers worth Rs 10,000 for the first 1,000 customers who pre-order the product. However, it’s not a flat discount; instead you’ll get Rs 3,000 off on an additional controller, 2 free Blu-rays worth Rs 2,500, a discount of Rs 2,000 on speakers and Rs 1,000 off on backpacks. The Xbox One standalone variant comes with a free game, Fifa 2015. The Xbox One with Kinect comes with free Dance Central Spotlight DLC and Fifa 2015.

The next iPhone is just around the corner and prices for the last year’s iPhone 5s are coming down. The prices are currently fluctuating around the Rs 41,000 price bracket on several online stores and they might go even lower in the coming weeks. Both Amazon and Flipkart are matching each other’s prices on the iPhone 5s 16GB.

Canon’s EOS-M Mirrorless camera is now available at a discount of flat 40% on Flipkart. The digital camera comes with a free 4GB SD card, and a DSLR camera bag. The Canon EOS-M Mirrorless camera includes an 18MP sensor, a 3-inch LCD display, and f/3.5 – f/5.6 aperture. The camera is a decent choice for those starting out on learning photography skills. ‘Oppo’ has launched of the mini version of last year’s N1 flagship for the India market. The Oppo N1 Mini has been priced at Rs 26,990 and will hit markets later this week. The smartphone sports a 13MP rotating camera with an LED flash. The camera is capable of shooting 24MP photos using the Ultra HD mode, a technology similar to Nokia’s PureView tech. The device is powered by a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM, which should provide enough oomph for most tasks.

European carrier Air France-KLM joined the bandwagon of international airlines offering discounted tickets to the outbound Indian passengers with the launch of a limited period 20% discount scheme on Air France, KLM and Delta flights. The ‘Independence Day special’ offer is valid for bookings made in India between August 11 and August 15 for travel between October 1 and December 15. In India, Air France currently operates daily flights from Delhi and Mumbai and 6 times a week services from Bengaluru to Paris.

SpiceJet celebrate this special occasion with a special fare of Rs 1,947 all-in for travel across India. Booking is open till August 14, 2014 till 23:59 hours for travel between 1st September and 15th December, 2014.

Gulf carrier Emirates announced a limited period special fares offer for its Indian fliers starting at Rs 21,858 for economy class and Rs 52,312 for business class fliers to the Middle East, Europe, Americas as well as Africa. Bookings for the special offer commenced from Monday and would remain open until August 10 for travel between September 11 and December 10.
