New Delhi:Â After temporarily going down for over half an hour, Facebook is now back up. Users can now log in to the social networking site and all services seem to have been restored. The Facebook app for Android, which earlier failed to load news feed, is also working fine now. There is, however, no word yet from Facebook as to what had caused the site to go down.
Users were unable to log in to the social networking site between 1:15 PM and 2 PM IST, and instead were getting a message: “Sorry, something went wrong. We are working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.”
The outage was reported in several countries, including China, Singapore and India.
