Ahmedabad: People opened their hearts and voted for Narendra bhai. People voted for BJP. We were expecting close to 300 seats. But going to 330-332 was not expected. People wanted to make the change. The first credit goes to the people of India who voted, and second credit goes to the able leadership of Narendra bhai and NaMo wave.
That was Dr Vasudev Patel, a scientist in Atlanta, Georgia, writing his blog. Dr Patel was born in Mehsana, Gujarat in 1956. He is also the President of the Gujarati Association of Atlanta and co-ordinator of Overseas Friends of BJP. He was in India for six weeks to campaign for BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi.
“I was in Gandhinagar initially and in Ahmedabad for the rest of the day when the results were counted. We watched the entire election results on television the whole day. I am leaving for the US. Our work here is done. Mission accomplished, I would sayâ€.
