Chandigarh: More than 48.73 lakh  tonnes of wheat has so far arrived in various mandis of Haryana in the current procurement season.
The government agencies have procured 48.72 lakh tonnes of wheat whereas, 839 tonnes of wheat have been purchased by traders, a spokesman of the Food and Supplies Department said.
He said HAFED has purchased highest 17.72 lakh tonnes of wheat followed by 13.99 Lakh tonnes purchased by Food and Supplies Department.
