Bhopal: Do you want to make history or want to become history? If the majority community does not use discretion and does not vote 100%, it will soon become history,’’ says an RSS document distributed in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh.
The document, ‘Bharat Vijay Abhiyan,’ ostensibly aimed at increasing voter turnout gives away its main target, “minority appeasement and injustice to the tolerant majorityâ€.
Without naming BJP or Congress, the document says it is time for a “nationalist government†and slams “those who ruled for a longer period since Independence†for keeping the country weak and poor due to “minority appeasement, corruption and stashing of black money in foreign banks’’.
Matadata Jagran Manch, Bhopal, known to be a front on the right wing organisation has been distributing similar documents in the state. “To protect vote bank, they divided us using the sword of minority appeasement,†the document says.
The Sangh has employed its organisational might in the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies that go to poll on April 24. Six of them are with Congress and four with BJP. In the recent state Assembly elections, BJP performed well in Malwa-Nimad area which account for eight of these seats. Sangh pracharaks became active there just over a month ago.
