Patna: The Janata-Dal (United) manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls promises to uplift the lot of the poor. Flanked by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, JD-U president Sharad Yadav said the party has vowed to strengthen the society.
If Narendra Modi-led BJP government is installed at the Centre, the development of Bihar will take a beating, Yadav said.
Nitish also questioned the Gujarat model of development, saying my questions are not being answered. “People are being sold dreams,” he said, adding, his party would support any non-Congress, non-BJP government.
“BJP has kind of purchased all the choppers. There are no choppers available for us, with money power being shamelessly flaunted by it,” he said.
