Lucknow: In a major breakthrough, the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad on Wednesday arrested two suspected terrorists planning to launch attacks during Narendra Modi’s rally. The alleged terrorists are suspected to have come from Pakistan. Both of them are likely to be produced in court on Thursday.Â
Reports suggest that the ATS officials recovered arms and bomb-making materials from them in Gorakhpur.Â
The arrest comes a day after the Delhi Police virtually broke the back of terror outfit Indian Mujahideen with the arrest of its chief of Indian operations Tehsin Akhtar alias Monu, who was wanted in a number of bombings in the country, from near Kakarvitta Indo-Nepal border in Darjeeling district of West Bengal.
