New York: Starbucks is all set to launch further alcohol sales in a move to boost its sales after the morning rush hour. It will turn the coffee giants into beer and wine outlets in the evening.
The chain had offered beer and wine in 2010 in one of its outlets in Seattle after 4pm. Its success further expanded the endeavour to 26 outlets. They now hope to provide alcohol to 40 outlets by the end of the year.
The effort is said to be part of the company’s push to boost sales throughout the day after the morning rush hour.
There are about 11,000 Starbucks stores in the U.S.
