Kenyan Ndiku win mens world indoor 3000m

Kenyan Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku won men’s 3000m gold at the World Indoor Athletics Championships at Sopot on Sunday.

Ndiku clocked 7min 54.94sec, holding off three-time former champion Bernard Lagat of the United States, who took silver in 7:55.22.

Ethiopian Dejen Gebremeskel claimed bronze (7:55.39).
