New Delhi: Gen. V K Singh on Saturday joined BJP and said, “I wish to serve the nation in this new role. I am happy that I am joining the party which is nationalist and decisive.”
Gen Singh was presented with a party badge, a medal, flowers and a party ticket. Along with him, a few other senior ex-servicemen also joined the party. A list of 100 new members were read out.
Welcoming the General, BJP President Rajnath Singh said, “The Defence forces are the most dedicated lot in the country and BJP is proud to have them as members.”
