India’s first gear-less car

Date:

New Delhi: India’s long wait for gear-less car has come to an end, with the launch of new Maruti Suzuki Celerio in the ongoing 12th Auto Expo at Greater Noida. This car is expected to hit the roads soon with a price tag of Rs 4.29 – 4.59 Lakh.

“This car marks the start of the era of gear less cars in India, and around 2020, around 30% cars in the Indian market would be free of gears, said Mayank Pareek, COO Maruti Suzuki to the reporters.

It took Maruti more than four years to make the nation’s first gear-less car.
