Mahindra Electric launches its much-awaited ‘E2o Plus’ at ₹ 5.46 Lakh

Renowned Motor company Mahindra Electric has launched a four-door version of their electric car e2o named ‘e2o Plus’. The e2o Plus will be prepared in four variants P2, P4, P6 and P8 and the price range of ₹ 5.46 lakh – ₹ 8.46 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Mahindra has already chosen to drop the name ‘Reva’ used for their electric vehicles so unlike the 2-door e2o, the e2o Plus gets a new front grille which is observed in Mahindra’s SUVs. It is longer by 310 mm, wider by 61 mm and taller by 25 mm than its 2-door sibling.

The P2, P4 and P6 variants of the Mahindra e2o Plus receive the power from a 19 kW electric motor paired with a 48V battery pack. In a single charge, it can be driven for about 110 km range. The top speed is claimed to be 80 km/h. While the top-end P8 variant gets more powerful 30kW motor powered by a 72V battery pack. It allows a longer range of 140km in a single charge with a top speed of 85 km/h. The bigger battery takes about 9 hours to get fully charged.

Mahindra is investing a huge amount of time and money on the electric vehicles. The e2o plus is Mahindra’s third fully electric vehicle launched this year after the eVerito and eSupro.
